Walkthrough
The Theme
Picture a vast empire of endless steppes, deep forests and roaring rivers. Through it all, one man presses on — not for glory, but because he gave his word. That image drives the whole year: every scout is a courier, every patrol a relay post, and the whole troop advances towards a shared goal despite every obstacle.
Across the Year
**Relay patrols**: each patrol represents a stage of the journey, with its own name, colour and courier badge.
**The troop's sealed message**: at the start of the year the leader drafts a sealed message handed to each patrol leader, opened together at year's end.
**Skill progression**: ranks of 'courier' → 'steppe guide' → 'lead scout'.
**Main camp game**: multi-patrol message relay across unknown terrain, with crossings, checkpoints and night challenges.

Tips & variations
The theme works best if you slip real 'patrol missions' throughout the year rather than saving everything for camp. A good courier always keeps moving.
